I think Emap station need a good kick,they are lost in an era when the guys like Tony mckenzie ,Dave lincoln and tim shoemaker guided the station...now these stations are a shadow of there past..Look tom Hunter has left the group with Shaun greggory to follow...Is it a sinking ship ,do they need new talent or have the king rats left and the players who are left cant cope.. (just look at these top ex Emap names all ex radio city people who climbed the ladder in Emap)

I think it needs new blood at all levels or Maybe Tim shoemaker could provide new money in a buyout to build Emap 2

But we could say that about all stations and groups these days..From my own view point I would limit a group to no more than four stations in a group to build the local stations again....

You have a good point there Radio in the U.k is nothing like it use to be & with alot of stations such as Music Fun life Networking at night there isn't much choice to go for is there.
