Sorry i have to disagree with you there.

I think it was a good station that has improved in the past 18 months, but it will be interesting to see what happens when XFM launches.

I think it depends on what sort of music your into?

With a logo "We only play the music "WE" want" doesnt say alot about the listeners does it?

I went up to the studios to ask for some stuff such as Pen's, KeyRings
stickers ect they opened the door on the 3rd knock after what seemed along time waiting in the cold. I then was asked my address & they would post some
carstickers off to me now that was over about 12 month ago now & I am still lol waiting for them.

They seem to change presenters & shows quite alot, the website has just been
done but it's the smallest font's I have ever seen.

I just think they could present them selfs better than they are doing. mad.gif

As for XFM we will have to see won't we?

I used to work for UKRD, at 96.2 The Revolution between 2004-2005, but last year I moved to 105.4 Century FM!

There's a rumour going round, in radio circles, that UKRD are set to sell off the Revolution in late 2006 to Tindle. Not sure how certain it is.

Yet another change is happening..... there's a new evening jock coming from April (so no more Mani 6-10pm Monday and Cottee Tuesday - Friday 6-10pm, and a new late show too.

The drivetime slot 2-6pm is changing too, not sure who's getting the gig.

Phil Beckett is staying on mid-mornings 10am-2pm, he's getting good rajars I hear from a mate that works at the Rev.

Plus the Rev's getting some new weekend changes; a new weekend brekkie jock (not sure who, but it's confirmed!), and Claire B's Partyzone is now 6pm-12am, and the overnight show is 12am-3am.

Very soon the Rev is getting ANOTHER breakfast show host.... how long will Sarah Mills last??

All this news is interesting for you, I hope.

I no longer work for them - I joined 105.4 Century FM in October 2005 - but I have a friend who works there, he's given me all the goss.

No idea where Brendan's gone. But I do know Claire B is doing some swing for other groups too, in the near future.
The rumour's still going round that UKRD will sell the Revolution to Tindle, or EMAP.

GCap may turn it into '96.2 Irwell FM' if they buy it, so the rumour mill goes! laugh.gif

(i had to edit this post!)
