I thought I'd start a thread on this station, 'cos it's a good one.
I like the current presenters - all ex-Century staff:
Gareth Evans, Sam Pinkham, Jim Davis, Rob Wain, all excellent IMHO!

Not sure about breakfast - they don't seem to gel too well!

anyone else here a fan of 106 Heart FM?? (oops, sorry, Heart 106!) biggrin.gif

I get to hear this when I go into the East Midlands sometimes, not as good as the old 106 Century FM!!

I usually have Hallam or Peak FM on when I'm there....

At least this Heart station doesn't have a CD Countdown 3-6pm but some local programming instead of a chart!

Different to what RAM, Trent, Lincs FM offer.... but good!

Have to admit that Rob Wain, Jim Davis and Gareth Evans are excellent! huh.gif

But it's taking that new Hot AC chart..... mad.gif

Have these stations any idea of what 'alternative programming' is??

Not everyone wants to listen to chart shows on Sunday afternoon! (and that's one reason why Heart/Century do so well!)

Agreed. The idea of a Heart/Century station taking a chart is ludicrous!!

Maybe Chrysalis/GCap should think twice before taking away local programming on Sunday afternoons.... it's alternative programming!

XFM don't take chart shows, and look how well they do!

Listen in to the Club Classics last night which is pritty good loads better than London's Heart 106.2's show
