Amisha threatens Air-India staff
- Mumbai: An Air India staff has lodged a complaint with police against Bollywood actor Amisha Patel after she allegedly verbally abused a staff on the issue of upgrading her friend's ticket, police said.
Amisha and her friend had booked tickets on an Air India flight for the US for yesterday when she allegedly lost her cool after the check-in staff agreed to upgrade her ticket from business class to first class but refused to do the same for her friend, travelling with her. An enraged Amisha is alleged to have verbally abused the check-in staff and threatened to hit her, they said. Later the actor and her friend proceeded for the US by the same flight, sources said.
Senior Inspector Chandrakant Chauhan of Sahar police station said that a non-cognizable complaint by the Air India staff was registered. "We may question Amisha as and when she returns from abroad," Chauhan said.
