1st Annual "Ruff Ride" Dice Run

The Northland Animal Welfare Society is excited to bring you the 1st annual RUFF RIDE—A BIKERS, HOT RODS, & SPORTS CARS DICE RUN! NAWS has been working closely with elected officials of Platte County, and our goal for this terrific event is to raise funds to build a much needed, 21st century animal shelter, in Platte County! We are honored that they have asked for our assistance in bringing their efforts to the attention of the northland community, and are more than willing to stand behind such a worthy and heartfelt cause.

On Saturday, June 16, 2007, we will meet at Jack Miller American Thunder V-Twin, located at 2900 Burlington, NKC, between 9am-11am, and our RUFF RIDE DICE RUN will begin! Slacker, from 99.7 KYYS radio station, will lead the ride! With registration, participants will receive a “goodie” bag, 1 raffle ticket, wrist band, and an event t-shirt. Additional raffle tickets will be available at each of our 4 stops. And, additional t-shirts will be made available at the “after ride” party. The route (subject to change) will include stops in Atchison, Leavenworth, and St. Joseph Harley Davidson, and ending at Pete’s Inn for an after party that you won’t want to miss—with a live band, cook out, and raffle drawings!

The cost for pre-registration (with money received prior to 6-16-07) is $20 per bike/car. Please note, we are not charging for passengers, but will ask for a $5 donation for their food ticket at Pete’s Inn. Registration fee the day of the ride will be $25 per bike/car.
