i gained conciousness again - it was rather annoying slipping in and out all the time.

after taking a few breaths i sat up and looked around. i remembered that it had only been about half a day since i got here and some people but it stopped there.
my arm was bandaged up and i couldn't move it. i pulled a small book out of a pocket and opened to write in it, it was a book of letters, i wrote in it to my family, another sad moment filled my mind. i finished and got up, dizzily, and walked over to a barrel to sit down on. i had lost a lot of blood. there were many medical supplies strewn around. my chest hurt a lot so i checked it out, it was also bandaged as well as my leg, it seemed i didn't notice them before, it also seemed that i had collasped and taken to the medical bay. i heard footsteps walking around underneath, above and on the same level as me.
"its best not to venture uninvited" i thought and got back into bed
"i'd better rest" i said sleepily

I scoffed as I entered the room. Yet another hopeless drifter that the kingston has picked up. I wondered how many more washed up nobodies the captain would allow on this trip.
Still, this man intruiged me. I would make a note to write as much as I can about him in my journal. Afterall, it is my journal that will make me money when I sell it after we have finished our journey - which seems never to be ending. I wondered if we would ever return home.

"You are lying in my bed," I said to the man of asian origin, "and on top of all that....... you appear to have been bleeding on my bed! How very dare you!"

i got up and stared into his eyes
"i apologize.......but i dont have control of where i end up you know"
i picked up my sword and tied it to my belt
"can you tell me where the captain is....i need to thank him" i asked my mind was in shame and embaressment, i had been sleeping in some elses bed, which could be the equivilent of stealing someones food from thier hand.

as i walked out, my book of letters fell out unnoticed and i continued down the corridor
