(Please do not let Larrion's hiding place be discovered just yet. Thank you.)
(Continued from the Secondary Deck - Missing Boats)
The Black Abyss is never used on the Kingston. The likely hood of someone checking the small, almost submarine like, device was very slim. It was perfect for my hiding place, no one ever came here to check it, and it also served as a quick get away.
I entered the Black Abyess and sealed the door behind me. It felt like returning home as I pulled back my hood and looked at everything. I had small items and trinkets hung from the walls, I shock the hair from my face and went to sit down. I brushed back some books and papers and then sat onto the seat. There was a pile of books to my side to add to my ever growning collection of objects. It was not just things I had written, but I took peoples log books for my records. I took maps from the Captains room. I took a papers, documents and certificates from where ever I could. Clutter filled the ceiling, floor and walls of the Black Abyss, but thats one of the reason I liked to think of it as home.
I lent from my chair and reached up to a small compartment, I took out a cooking tin and pewter bowl that I borrowed from the kitchens. I reached out to a basket the hung from the ceiling, I fumbled inside and took out a tightly packed handfull of rice. I scouped the pan into a bucket of water I had hung up and then placed the rice in the pan and perched it onto my outspread fingers. I sent a burst of heat through the object and the water inside the cooking pan started to boil.
When my food had boiled I sived out the water back into the bucket and then poured the steaming rice into the bowl. I even added salt and spices that were hung up in another container.
I sat there eating my rice and flicked through the Captains log book, considering my next actions.
