Those of us who had already set off from the ship on the small boats were almost at the beach on the mysterious island. None of us were aware of the situation taking place on the Kingston with Timmothy, the young child.
We were all just looking forward to relaxing on the beach!

The boat I was in was the first to arrive at the beach. It landed gently with a bump!
I jumped out of the boat, my boots splashing into the shallow water. I helped the others down form the boat, including the doctor, Jemimia and Scarlett.

"There you go me ladies!" I said with a smile.

Then, like a young boy again, I head off towards the beach, splishing and splashing in the water! As I got to the beach I jumped down onto the soft sand and ripped off my top, allowing the suns rays to warm my muscular body.

"Ahhh this is the good life right here!" I said to myself, lying back an soaking up the sun, "Where's chef with this Barbque then?"

I stepped out from the boat and onto the soft sand, I breathed in deeply and enjoyed the marvellous view. It was a cloudless sky and I could see the sea from a great distance. Spectacular green trees spread up alongside the lengthy beach. It was beautiful.

I removed my thick leather jacket and rolled up my sleeves. I lifted my hat up and splashed the cool water across my face and head, then I put it back to keep my face shaded from the warm sun.

"A good roasting sounds great to me too Boulder! Look at the view it's stunning!" I raised my hands in all directions. "We probally should wait for the others to arrive then go deeper into the greenery, animals will feed on the rich vegatation."

With that, another boat emerged on the beach.

I stepped out from the boat with the help of Boulder and smiled.
"Why thank you" I said to him and watched as he ran off like a child to the sea.
I walked further up the beach where there were a few trees giving out shade.

I romoved my shoes and placed my feet on the warm beach, the sand between my toes.
It was lovely, simply beautiful, taking a deat in the shade I watched as a few more boats emerged on the beach.
I pulled my hair back out of my eyes, I looked completly different when I had my hair up and I tied it into a pony tail, keeping it away from my eyes.
"Magnificent" I said to myself and propped myself up against the tree trunk.

Our small boat pulled up to the shore, "Gah! What a view," I said whilst struggling to get out from the raft. My heavy feet pounded foot prints in the sand as I stomped along the beach, being a Dwarf I was not used to such climates, I was used to being underground and deep in the depths of the mountains of snow.

The crew were gathering around, but instead I chose not to and I ran towards the dense woodland. I wanted to prove that I could provide for the crew, so I thought a head start should help. Attached to various points on my clothing was some of my collection of weapons. I was no hunter, but I could kill animals!

Making sure nobody saw me, I ran into the trees and away from sight.

I found a spot next to the doctor and sat down, removing my shoes and taking off my jacket. I was not too comfortable showing off my skin unlike some of the other crewmembers. I noticed that Hazel Caress was lying not too far away in what seemed to be just her underware!

Still, I wouldn't let her get to me and I sat back and enjoyed myself.

A large crate of wines and spirits and beers was brought off one of the boat and I was offered a glas of wine. I took it eagerly and sipped at it.

"This is the life!" I said to the doctor, "it doesn't get much better then this! If I knew that exploring the oceans would be this much fun I would have done it years ago!"

The final boat pulled into the beach and we stepped off it. I tied all of the boats together and looked about the beach.

Kingston crewmembers were scattered about in groups, pairs or just on their own, soaking up the sun. Some people were splashing in the water.

I noticed Olivia Thorn in the water with 'Timothy'. Max Decker was with them. They were playing in the waves. Timothy seemed just like a normal small child... I almost forgot that he he was anything but normal.

A lovely smell greeted my nostrils and I noticed that the food was cooking! Chef was standing by a fire with her hat on and was cooking up a storm!
Already people had gathered around looking at the lovely food.

It wa sa shame there would be no fresh meat though. Togan had said he could catch something, yet as I looked around I could not spot him. I hoped he had gone off to bring something back!

I smiled at Jemima, we hadn't actually met properly yet, I had just seen her on the ship and said hi now and again.
"Oh Yes, although I must say the sun was never my favourite thing in the world, but I do enjoy sitting out in it in the more shaded places" I smiled at her and took a glass of wine from the table not too far away.

I sighed and layed back a little more, "To think, we could be the first human beings to ever set foot on this land, its magnificent."

This was the first chance I had had of any relaxation for months and months and I was going to make the most of it. I lay back with some food from Chef and a cool drink with my feet in the water and closed my eyes.

This was the life!

There was talk of heading into the trees to explore. I had tried to advise against it Although we seeemd safe on the beach, who knew what animals could live within those trees.

A yawn reached my mouth and I began to drift off into a pleasent, warm and relaxed sleep...

I was playing in the sea with Olivia and Timothy. Timmy sure had gorwn since I last saw him. I had heard everyone talking, saying how he was some sort of demon child, but I didn't really understand. He was a loveable toddler!
So maybe he did age suddenly... couldn't it have possibly been some sort of disease that he had? Or maybe some sort of spell cast upon him?

I left the sea for a little while and rushed voer to Boulder who was eating chicken legs.

"Are you going to come in the sea with us?" I asked.

I stood staring at the jungle ahead of us. It was indeed thick and spread for many, many miles. I was curious about the trees I saw. I had strange suspicions about them... but we were too far away for me to tell. Besides, Geoff was barking by my side. He had no doubt smelt the glorious smells coming from chefs cooking.
"Alright lad!" I chuckled, "lets go and see what there is for you to eat!"
We began to walk across the golden sand to the fire where chef stood roasting many varieties of food. Pirate Pete offered me a drink and I thankfully declined. I was never much of a drinker.
Then I saw something that I took great interest in. There was a small plant sticking out of the sand not too far away.
I turned to the nearest person I could see. It was Scarlett Vittorio.
"Oh miss Scarlett," I said, "you couldn't take Geoff for a moment could you? He is peckish... could you get him soemthing from chef? If its not too much bother!"
She took Geoff from me and I pottered over to the plant.
I recognised this plant.
It was the same plant I had found few days earlier, floating in the sea! (see posts in the science labs) The plant that was supposed to be extinct!
"Oh my word," I said. I looked around. "Excuse me!" I said to whoever could hear me, "Excuse me... I think somebody better take a look at this!"
