(continued from market square)

"sleepy I are you in here?"

i rushed up the spiral stairs and found more fighting! sleepy was fighting an old man with a sword!

"sleepy my son be careful! is there anyhting i can do to help?"

"Mother stay back!"

i continued "please we are here to help. that man... all he said was lies. we are here to help and save the villiges on this island."

if he dident stop trying 2 kill me i would have to do something... anything to light the tower.

"How do I know you are not the one telling the lies!" I shouted.

Outside we could hear that the battle was getting worse.

"You are trying to destroy us all!" I thrust my sword forward, stricking Sleepy I in the shoulder. He cried out and blood spurted from his wound.
I was an old man but Istill knew how to fight. It was time to finish him off once and for all!

I swung my sword around my head, ready to bring it crashing down on his neck...

"sleepy look out!"

i picked up a plank of wood on the gorud and threw it at the old man. it hit him on the head knocking him backwards.

"now sleepy! get him!"

i jumped up and kick him pritty hard in the head... but that only kocked him out.

i hugged my mother "thankyou"
"now how do we light this tower?"
it needed fule somhow?

where is the fuel?

"over there!" I say pointing to a large bucket, "it is full of oil!"

sleepy went over to the bucket of oil and picked it up.

"you need to pour the oil over the bonfire in the centre and then light it! do you have any matches?"

"matches?" pulled my pockets inside out. "no i havent got any but we can strike somthing to gether to get a spark!"

we looked around...

I lay on the floor holding my head. I has half unconscious. It seemed obvious to me now that Ragnar had been right - these people did want to kill us all!
Captain Korg must be the only true good person in this world!

I closed my eyes, my body too weak to move, knowing that I had failed in my task.
Sleepy I would find the matches in my pocket and light the signal.
I sighed.

My mother found the matches in graham pocket... i then light it... and made it point to the other villiges... hope they could come quickly!

sleepy had the signal lit!

"well done sleepy, you could have saved the day!"

i give him a big hug. i am so proud of him. prouder then i have ever been in my whole life!
