Here begins PART SIX - The Apocalypse
You wake suddenly. You look about the room which seems very familiar to you... however it is not your quarters on the Kingston. It takes you a couple of seconds to realise where you are... in your old bedroom in your old house in Port Town! How strange! How did you get here? The last thing you remember is being on the Kingston near Devil Island in uncharted waters. How did you get herE? You really cannot remember.
Even as you sit in your bed confused you can smell cooking bacon from downstairs and you can hear your dear old mother pottering about the kitchen...

yorn... what a sleep? did i take my tablets?

hey my room has changed? (lookes around in draws and windows) where are the other beds?

i open the door and i get a wiff of the bacon. "hummm... whos down here... mother?"

someone is talking to me? It must be sleepy.

"good morning son. did you sleep well? i have breakfast for you on the table."

i am glad to have sleepy back. he has been gone for too long.

is it?
i cannot be? has the past year been a dream?

"erm good m-m-m-morning mother..." i followed her downstarirs.

i asked "erm mother? how did i get here? how long have i been here?"

she looked at me a and laughted.

"what a silly question my son."

i put the food on the table. and i called in the rest of the kids.

"you have been back for two days now. don't ask me how you got back. probably on that ship you went away on."

i sat down.

"now tuck into your dinner sleepy. you look like youve lost weight. we will need to fatten you up again!"

i was rather hungry so i sat and had the food. i wanted to ask more questions but i dident want to seem silly.

after the dinner i looked out more windows.

i should see if i can find the other.

i took my sons hand and squeezed it tight. the other children were running around causing trouble. but i was more interested in sleepy right now.

"please dont go to find your friends from the kingston"

i began to cry

"it is too dangerous. they get you into too much truble sleepy! and with that cult going around... anyhting could happen to you. id hate you to go missing just like your father did!"

i open my arms and hunger her "mother, i will be just fine. u know the saying ... like father like son. and he was a strone tuff man and i wont be walking far."

i have made up my mind not to tell her about my farther been a vampire... maby because he wasent my farther. he was evil.

"farther is all around us. he is around us both now. he will protect me and you. and i promised a friend that i would see him. he is ill and he has no mother or farther."

i hate lying to her but i need answer to these questions.

"alright then my son"

i hugged him again.

"you go and see to your ill friend. butbe careful! and watch out for that cult! they are dangeorus!"

i didnt wait to see him leave as i was too worried for him. instead i went back into the kitchen where i found one of my daughters, Pickles I and one of my other sons, Lanky I fighting.

"stop fighting you too! or ther'll be no dinner for you!"

i broke up the fight and went upstairs where i found my knife and my gun with new bullets? i wonder where thye came from i wonder.

i do not know where the other live and i need to refresh my self where things are in the town.

"Bye Mum i shall be back for supper!"

i kissed her on the cheek and went onto the street
