Here begins PART SIX - The Apocalypse
You wake up suddenly. It is cold in the room as the fire has not been used in many months. You are covered by only a single small blanket.
You sit up and look about the room. you are terribly confused.
This place looked like your old flat in Port Town but how could it be? The last thing you remember was being on the Kingston fighting the monsters of Devil Island... and that was in uncharted waters, miles away from here. How could you be back here?

"Aaahh!" I cried, sitting up rapidly, blanket flying aross the room.
I leap out of bed and looked around to see the impossible.
"What? Whats going on here...?" I said aloud looking confused and disorientated. I remembered fighting with vampires on devil island, thats it, I was wounded...Adrian lying dead...killed by vampire Cander. I remember swinging my scimitar down towards the Queen.
I looked at my thick arms and body, noticing no wounds or scars from the event. How did I get back to the port in England?
Kicking my feet up I walked towards my small desk. Various worthless ornaments filled the shelves and the desk top. I briefly looked at my model engine and then slumped down onto the smooth sitting chair. I tried to cast my mind back as to what happened but I couldn't remember anything after Devil Island.
After lighting the eldery dry wood, the fire warmly blazed and I withdrew a bottle of brandy and a glass from the dusty desk draw. I drank and placed the bottle back into the draw, then I noticed that theres was a small figure in the dark drawer. It was a small globe of the earth - very rare, not many people even knew the places on earth - I almost forgot I had it.
Lifting my feet up I relaxed and looked outside to the busy street and gentle breeze that floated through the town. It felt like home...

I heard a noise so I crept through into the room where it had come from. I found a man standing looking out of the window. He was tall and donned a hat and eyepatch. He also had a long black beard. He looked mean.
So far he had not seen me. He seemed very distracted.
I wondered what he was doing in here? This flat had been empty for months. I held a dagger behind my back. The dagger was gold and had strange words scrowled down the side of the blade.
It was time to find out who this person was. If he was here for us then he would have to be dealt with. It would be an opportunity for me to prove my worth to the others.
"You!" I shouted, "What are you doing here? Answer me!"

I slowly turned around and glanced at the man standing with the golden blade. I turned my gaze back to the window and watched outside.
"What is your name, young man? You seem angered." I turned around fully to face him. "Thats a pretty little blade you have there," I said with a mocking tone.
The shorter man seemed bewildered, I presumed unsure to attack or flee. I then walked over to the dust covered desk and poured myself another drink, after swiftly downing it, I casually arched one leg onto the table.
"Now tell me, what on Gods Earth are you doing in my flat?"

I looked at the man. He showed no fear in his eyes at the sight of my blade.
"My... my name is Freddy," I said nervously, "Freddy Fold. And... and... and this is NOT your flat! It is ours! We have been using it for months!"
I slowly backed away towards the door. I was worried. This man worried me. I hoped the others would return soon.
"Now look here," I said, "I don't know who you are or what you are donig in our sacred place... but you better leave soon... or there'll be trouble."
I glanced to my left and hoped he hadn't noticed our sacred shrine. It was undisturbed so it looked like he had not seen it. He HAD to leave...

"What kind of trouble?" I asked sarcastically. He started to slowly make his way to the door, I suddenly leap up from the floor and dived across the room. I landed heavily next to him and stood tall, looking down upon him.
"This is my home!" I boomed down at his scrawny body, "What right have you to be here? I could cut you down like a helpless dog!" I started to raised my voice. "Sacred did you say?" I spat, and looked around to see an almost relgious shrine.
My hand slid down my side and caressed the ebony handled scimitar that hung relaxed in her sheath.
"Do you know who I am?" I stomped foward, "You better get answering some questions boy!" I poked him hard in the chest and he flinched from the action.

"P...P...P... Please," I stuttered, "do not harm me! I don't mean you any wrong! But... you... just don't understand!"
I looked at the shrine and began to pray in my head. This man was familiar to me although I knew not why. I feared him.
"If the other sfind you here..." I continued, "then they will kill you! Please... won't you just leave!"
I looked at his mighty weapon and my legs trembled.
"You won't be able to fight them all," I said, "there are too many of us! Please leave now!"

"Haha!" I laughed deeply, it bounced off the walls of the small room. "I dout that very much laddie!"
I could see that the young man was scared, he trembled before me. I turned and walked away towards the old desk. Once more I reached for the draw and pulled out brandy. I knew that he probally was telling the truth, but to get more information I felt that beating it out of him isn't the right way. I needed to know more about how I got here and why this sacred group has been using my flat.
"Don't just stand there," I rumbled. "Come, sit, have a drink!" I poured out two glasses of brandy

I sat down slowy and drank the brandy quickly - just to calm my nerves. I had always been a nervous wreck. I never really understood why!
I placed my knife quickly back in the pocket of my yellow robes and looked at the man with the eyepatch.
"Please," I said, "You do not understand. They WILL kill you if you get in their way. They are powerful. The one we worship makes them so! And..."
I took another swing of the drink.
"And... it is not only you that would be in trouble," I said shaking, "I also would be punished! Punished for not dealing with you myself! You have no idea what they would do to me! Crazy Eyeballs... they would set Crazy Eyeballs on me!"
I was shaking badly now. I was terrified and with good reason.
"If Ragnar comes and finds us both here... together..." I hid my face in my hands, "I do not even want to think of the consequences!"

"Slow down lad, keep calm." I poured another glass of brandy. I noticed the blade he carried, it was golden with words scrolling down the side. I prentended I didn't see it.
I couldn't beleive that this man wasn't bothered if I killed him! He was more concerned with his other 'friends' catching him with me. He was a wreck, I felt sorry for him and wondered why the hell he would get associated with such a group.
I spoke "This Crazy..."
"Eyeballs" he finished
"...This Crazy Eyeballs is going to do nothing. Look, you seem like a nice guy, and I don't kill good hearted people...anymore." he took his head from his hands. I beleived that these people he spoke of where more scary then they actually are.
"The space we are is my house. Either you like it or not, I am not moving for any body." I crossed my arms. "And if that Crazy Eyeballs and Ragnar come here and try to kill one of us, they will find their black heart ripped from their chest and thrown in that fire!"
I stopped and started to realise that this situation had took over another. Before this shaking mess came into my room - I woke here. The last thing I remember was on the Kingston, perhaps I actually do need to follow this mans advice and go. Go and find the others of Kingston crew, I hardly used this flat anyway.
But before that, I must find out who this group are and find out how he got that golden blade!
