View Full Version: Dungeons...

I lay with my back to the cold and wet wall, my arms chained to the ceiling, my feet shackled to the floor.
It felt like I had been trapped down here for days.
The dungeon was old, freezing, damp and smelt of rotting flesh. My only company were the rats that scattered across the floor and the dead bodies that were chained up next to me. I had seen neither seen nor heard anyone. No Vampires... no werewolves... just myself.
I was beginning to go out of my mind.
Plus my eyesight had become blurred. My limbs ached and my throat was dry. Plus I was hungry. VERY hungry. I had an odd craving for raw meat... it didn't matter what, anything bloody.
The wound on my neck where Kiv'a had bitten me ached terribly. My shirt was covered in my own blood which had now dried.
I was feeling very weak. I was not sure exactly what was happening to me. Then, as I ran my parched tongue over my lips, I felt somthing sharp in my mouth. That is when I began to realise the awful truth... fangs! I was growing fangs!
I was turning into a vampire!
"NO!" I screamed out, "SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME! WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE COME TO RESCUE ME!"
But ther ewa sno responce as no one was here... except me...

Hearing shouting from the other side of the doors, I changed back into my human form. I was no longer cramed into the dark passage, I stood gently on my feet as the hair and muscle contracted from my skin. The transition between man and wolf had happened countless times, for I am Lord of the Werewolfs. It only took seconds and no pain entered my body.
I pressed my boney finger to my eye, and pulled it away. Soft bloody flesh covered it, the blast from the gun had blinded me in one eye. Although visablity in that eye was impossible to get back, I could still heal it. I forced my hand to my eye socket applied pressure, a green glowing light closed up the wound.
I moved my thin arm to open the door and then realised that I had a sword sticking in my side. I glared at the sword and my eyes shone brightly, the enchantments down the length of it glowed a light blue colour.
"W-w-what have we here?" I said aloud. I placed both hands around the textured handle and forced it away from my aged body. Much strength was needed to rip it from my person. I held it to the lantern light that danced from the green brick walls. It was a marvelous specimen, one of the best blades had laid my eyes upon. I knew nothing of its herritage, or its history, I stared at it with wonder.

I opened the heavy dungeon door, I hobbled forward onto the slimy brick floor. After closing the door, I heard a noise from a corner of the room.
The elderly man chained up cried out for help, screaming for his freedom.
"C-c-calm yourself child," I slowly shuffled my weak legs towards him "I--I have been here many years, attacked from werewolf and vampires alike. If you wanted to escape, I could free you, but for a ... small request." I enjoyed lying to humans, they always believed every word one said.
I reached into a small cloth pouch that was attached to my belt. He looked at me with a hint of worry. I took out a piece of bread and walked closer to him, "H-h-here my friend, take it" I lifted my veined hand and he almost snatched the bread from my fingers.
I let him eat for a while, until he started to speak

The moment his mouth opened, I heard a message from a lesser brother:
"Lord, our own kind intends to go against your plans. It is Kruger. I will leave his mind for now, as this is far better then being a traitor to my own kind. Please forgive me." the message faded off
Looking at the man in the dugeon I said "S-s-sorry to interupt you dear friend, but I have...m-matters...to attend too."
I turned and hobbled out of the Dugeon door and headed for the Vampire tower, I could hear the mans plending voice, cring for his freedom as I slowly walked out.
(I then travel to the Vampire Tower)

"No!" I cried, "No please do not leave me her! Not like this! I will die for sure!"
Then I realised. The man had loosened my shackles. I freed my hands and rubbed them. Freedom! I almost cried with pleasure! I managed to remove the shackles around my feet and I stood up and tried to move.
I fell back to the ground. I had not moved in such a long time.
Plus I felt very faint. I felt the wound on my neck where I had been bitten. It was getting worse. I suddenly got very sleepy and fell back to the ground and into a peaceful sleep...

I entered the dungeons and saw the man they called Cander, lying on the ground. He was going through the final stages of transformation into a vampire.
I walked ove to him and saw that someone had fed him and released his shackles. I was concerned. Who could have done this?
I picked up the man Cander and whsipered in his ear.
"Do not fear... all will be good soon... you will be with me!"
I then floated upwards, out of the dungeon and into my castle, towards my throne room. There was much to be done...
(Contiuned from War Room)
I stumbled down the stairs to a dark door, it was open. I peered round it, seeing nothing, I then entered. I could almost smell the Queen, she must have recently been in here.
I looked to the damp cold floor and noticed a scrap of paper near some chains. I reached down and picked it up and then examined it closly. I smiled and put it into my inside pocket. As I bent my legs to stand up I heard the door open and a shadowy person entered the room...
(continued from Throne Room)
Finding Kruger was easy. I could sence his presence. I could tell that he had entered the dungeons in search for the Queen.
I walked down the steps and he saw me. I smiled at him. My face, although not as beautiful as the Queens, was glorious to look upon.
"Hello Kruger my love," I said softly as I stepped over to him and placed my hand on his shoulder, "I know what it is you plan... I know what you wish to do to my Queen."
Kruger shuffled his feet uncomfortably.
"I have been sent here to kill you," I continued, "but do not fear... I shall not kill you. I wish to help you! Help you find the Lost Map... help you get the Axe of Lunea... help you find your father..."
I smiled. Only four of us knew where his father was. The Queen, Punisher, Gor'an and myself. However before I to,d Kruger this information I had to know I could trust him.
"Will you take me with you when you leave this place?" I asked...
I looked into Kiv'as face, her beauty stared back at me. I felt seduced by her presense as she came in closer.
"Kiv'a, I am glad you want to travel with me. But why would you help me? Would you betray the Queen?"
I felt attracted to Kiv'a, she touched my shoulders and relaxed them with her firm grip "I want your help Kiv'a..."
"I will help you any way I can," I said smiling. "And to answer your question, why am I going against my Queen... well that is simple... she has no real love for me. I am a servant of hers. I always have been. She uses me and then throws me aside when she is finished with me. Well not any longer!"
I moved closer to Kruger. His lips close to mine. I closed my eyes as we moved forwards to kiss..
Suddenly a pain shot through my heart and I staggered backwards.
"NOOOO!" I screamed out. Then within seconds the pain had gone. I looked up, my face grief striken.
"What is wrong?" Kruger asked.
"It if Gor'an," I gasped, "My brother... he... he has been killed! I felt it! His life is no longer with me!"
Anger filled my mind. I had felt so confident before that the crew of the Kingston would be easily kileld but now that Gor'an wa sdead doubt filled my mind.
"Kruger," I said quickly, "we must leave this island. somethnig terrible is gonig to happen and we cannot be here when it does! I willtell you all I know... your father, Korg... he is with the gods in Lunea. They are protecting him! We do not know why.
As for the Lost Map... it was lost at sea... Darren Blank dropped it. It sunk to the bottom of the ocean... but it will never be found now for the sea monster that stalks the uncharted waters has swallowed it whole! It now rests inside the belly of the beast!"
Kruger looked defeated. His father was in Lunea and the Map was gone.
"No time to worry," I said, "we must leave now!"
