(continued from the cave)

We moved away from the cave. The forest around us was thick but the trees and bushes were dead and had sharp thornes protuding from them.

"Be careful for the thornes!" I cried out to the group. I remember seeing information on this island on the Lost Map. It had said that some of the plant and tree life on this island was posionous. If anyone was pricked by one of these thornes then they could be poisoned!

I looked back. A small number of our group had still not caught up with us.

"We shouldn't get too far ahead!" I shouted, "we don't want to loose people!"

We found a small clearing and waited. The wolves didn't seem to be following us... maybe they didn't venture this dfeep into the forest... or maybe they had caught one of our friends and were feasting on them... I hoped the second was not true...

"Where are they?" I whispered...

They still hadn't caught up with us yet.

"What's taking them so long?" I shouted.

I wondered if they were still alive. I treasured them all dearly as friends... Pete especially... I couldn't stand back and do nothing.

I rushed forward to go back and help but was held back by Sleepy I and Emmsi.

Then we heard a noise up aboe. We all looked up...

Pete, Phoenix and myself finally made it into the clearing. Phoenix had been cut by one of the spine on the bushes so we had to stop.

Iwalked over to the group and to Emmsi in particular.

"Emmsi, could you have a look at the cut on Phoneix please?" I asked.

Thats when I notice them all looking upwards. I looked up too and saw... hundreds and hundreds of vampires flying across the night sky in the direction of the Kingston. In the centre of them was a female, glorious to look upon, she was surrounded by a strange glow. No doubt she was the Queen.

"My god!" I whispered, "THe Kingstons going to be in trouble..."

As I burst out of the cave following the Captain and Phoenix, I also stared to the sky, looking at the mass wave of flying creatures. I almost went into a trance whilst looking at the central female.

"Ouch!" I tripped and stumbled onto the floor, still staring upwards. Olivia grabbed my arm and pulled me upwards from the floor.

"Pete! Look at me!" she said

I turned my gaze from the Queen Vampire towards Olivia's eyes. Like a flick of a switch I snapped out of my trance.

"Thanks for that Olivia..." I said, quite embarssed. I stared another moment longer into her deep eyes. Then I realised about the danger our crew could be in. I turned around

"We can we do? We'll get eaten alive if we go back through the cave!" I shouted, I briefly looked at a scar down my left arm. "We must get off this island"

As I flew from the castle, out over the Dark Forest on my way to the Kingston, joined by all of my brothers and sister and the Queen herself, I looked down and saw the small group of people who were now stuck on the island!

I laughed to myself. They were trapped in that forest! It is like a maze in there... once you are in it is very, very hard to get out! Few have ever made it through the forest to the castle ni the centre of the island. Strange things lurk within the trees...

Then I saw him... looking up at us... his shabby clothes and his gormless face... I grinned!

He was mine!

I suddenly departed from my brothers and sisters and flew down towards the ground at great speed. The humans didn't even see me coming. I swooped in and grabbed him by the shoulders and rose upwards into the air...

Sleepy I screamed and tried to swing his arms about to free himself from my grasp but I was too strong! I would not let him go! He was mine!

"Do not try to escape Sleepy," I laughed, "I shall not let you!"

Sleepy I was confused. He did not understand why I had targetted him both on the Kingston and now on the island. I kept on flying higher and higher...

He got me! i tryed my hardist to get free, then i looked down, shit this was so high, the captain pete and the other looked like small ants,

i asked "what do yoiu want with me!"
i was getting nervous, i had never been on my own away from the other before. my strenth in my heart and body turned to fear.

i took a good look at the beast, it was the same one from the kingston and mabey the same one who tryed to cut my head off before that.

i asked again but in a lower frighten quiet voice.
"why have you taken me? what do you wnat from me?" i begone to shake.

"You really don't know do you?" I laughed to Sleepy I who was dangling below me. "This is all about your father! Do you remember when you were only five years old and your father went missing? Well he went missing becasue he was hunting me!"

Sleepy I was shocked.

"Thats right," I continued, "your father was a vampire hunter! He was working with Bruce Freedom! he tried to kill me... and almost managed it too!"

I looked down at the human and grinned manically.

"Do you want to know what happened to him... why your father never returned to you?"

My Farther! a vampire hunter? oh i remmber my mother frightend wondering where he went. but a vampire hunter she never told me!

"go on tell me? is he alive? oh please let him be."

now i have new questions for Bruce.

"So you really want to know what happened to him" I said grinning, "very well!"

I shouted upwards to the swarm of vampires flying through the night.

"Galla'hag!" I shouted, "Galla'hag get over here!"

The vampire called Galla'hag flew down towards us. Like all of us he was a dark skinned, horned creature. He flew over to Sleepy I and laughed. His face then changed into that of a mans but with red eyes and fangs.

Sleepy I let out a cry of shock.

Galla'hag was his father! At least he used to be...

Galla'hag laughed before returning to the others.

"So you see Sleepy I," I said, "I bit your father! He is one of us now! And he is a killer just like the rest of us!"

I wondered now what to do with Sleepy... should I kill him? Should I turn him into one of us? Or should I have fun with him?

I decided to have fun with him! I saw the Skull Rocks not too far away and flew over towards them...

HOLY JESUS! FARTHER??? oh boy hes one of them, how did he fail he was so fit and strong.

for the first time in years i cryed. now knowing what happend to my farther made me angry, i need to free him! farther or vampire, hes in pain and causeing it, i saw where we was heading. now thinking of a plan and away out of this.
