"My god!" I gasped, "that was the loudest howl I have heard yet on this island! What do you think caused it?" I asked.

I looked at Mister Johns who was acting very strange. His head was darting aobut backwards and forwards as if looking for something. His fists were clenched so tightly that his knuckles had gone white.

Suddenly he darted off into the forest very fast.

"Hey!" i shouted, "Hey wait for me!"

I rushed after him, trying to keep up...

I ran as fast as a I could in the direction of the others.

A mad craze had possessed me...
