"A good idea Sergeant," I said to Phoenix.

We managed to clear up some areas of the floor of the cave to use as an area to sleep. We were all very tired. I wondered how our new 'friend' Bruce Freedom would act around us. Would he help us or was he only interested in his own motives?

I was so shattered that I fell asleep almost instantly. I had been very tired lately... and I hadn't quite felt myself...

"Thank you Darren," I said as he handed me the water. I took a long gulp, and it tasted so good. "And thank you for rescuing me."

With that I laid down and tried to get some rest, but I was not sure how forthcoming sleep would be as me ankle was still very painful.

I stumbled along to the water, I sipped it slowly and managed to calm myself down.

"I-I do not require any sleep." I said to the strange group, that had in a sense captured me.

I shuffled my feet towards the young woman in pain. I bent my back over and struggled to sit down beside her. She was nursing her ankle wounds.

"D-D-Do you want m-me to help with that?" I said pointing my skiny finger to her foot. I got the impression she did not want my assistance, although I helped anyway.

Steadly raising my hand I held it over her ankle and hovered over the joint. I started to mutter words under my breath and a green glow came from my hands, lighting up her ankle. She seemed soothed by the warmth my powers.

I kept a close eye on the two hunters. They had a threating 'presense'. Also the tall man with the black beard seemed to possess a certain ability, which I could sense, but had no idea what it was. The man they refer to as Phoenix was watching me very closly, in comparison with the others.

I loked on shocked as Andor pointed his long boney finger at my ankle. As he did so the green light that came from it somehow helped my ankle, the swelling went down as did the pain. When he moved his hand away I rubbed my ankle, it seemed to be back to normal.

"Thank you"

i agreed we should all sleep. "i dont mind staying up, i have these tablets that keep me awake bause of my sleeping problum, you remmber captain?."

also i had been awake since we left salt staction i was always hyper.

I paced up and down, sword almost drawn. I had a certain 'past' with Werewolfs, I wasn't happy that they were outside waiting to get in. As long as we're inside, here away from them, we'll be okay.

"So them Mr. Freedom, what brought you to devil island? Why are you here in this cave? Just because you are also a hunter, that doesn't make you trust worthy. I know you have saved our lifes but what's next?" I said in a questioning tone, for I fear no living man.

He looked at me with a suprised face.

I carried on and started to broadcast the convosation to everyone else "What are we just going to sleep in here, and wait for those Things outside to attack?! We can't just stand around waiting, we need to work our way off of this bloody island!" I started to go into a shout "And you!" I pointed to Andor the helpless old man "What are you? You must know secrets of this Island? I want answers from you all Now!"

I raised my scimitar from it's scabard. I noticed the small inscriptions down the length were faintly glowing. Danger must lie ahead. No one else seemed to notice.

"Pete!" I said with a raised voice as I woke suddenly from my rest. I walked over to him and put both my hands on his shoulders to calm him down.

"This outburst is not helping," I said, trying to sooth my old friend. I had seen him like this before... restless. He was a man of action. He was a fighter. I could understand how all this waiting around would annoy him. However I also knew that there would be plenty of time for fighting in the near future... we would all have to fight...

"Sit down," I continued, "get some of the water that Blank has found. There is nothnig to do right now. Let us rest. Keep up our strentgh until sunrise. Then we'll find a way out off this island and back to the Kingston."

I sat back down with my back against the wall and looked around at everyone. People were starting to relax a little as the wolves sounded as if they were moving away. One by one people began to nod off into sleep. Even Sleepy I began to drift away... which was good as I had not seen him sleep for weeks now.

I watched Andor and Bruce Freedom for some time. I, like most of the people in this cave, had not noticed Andor's special healing powers and Emmsi had kept quiet about it.

Six words kept ringing in my ears. Six words that had been said to me not too long ago.

"One of them will betray you."

I wondered if Andor or Bruce could be the one that betrays me... or was it someone closer to home?

I, like everyone else, drifted off into sleepy, leaving Phoenix on watch...

I looked around at everyone. They were all sleeping. Even the old man Andor and the vampire hunter Bruce Freedom.

I walked to the cave entrance that we had blocked up and peered out of one of the tiny holes. It was bitch black outside and I could no longer see the wolves. However I felt they were still out there.

Snoring came to my ears. I looked around and saw Pirate Pete fast asleep. This confused me as he was wide awake only moments ago.

Sleepy I was also asleep. Now my confusion turned to concern. Sleepy always took his tablets that stopped him from sleeping.

A yawn caught hold of me. My eyelids began to droop. I slapped my face to keep awake. They began to droop again. This wasn't right...something was making me very tired... befroe I knew what had happened, my eyes had closed and I was away in the land of dreams...

As the cave fell silent, I opened one eye and peered around. They were all asleep. This island is like a living hell, so I have no idea why they decided to drink the water from hell. My thoughts turned into a mumble, I was tired, my day had been eventfully. I could feel my eye slowly drag down until closed. I then willing rested my body and mind to regain my strength. Alot of things could happen when we awake...

My mind raced.

Where was I?

I looked around. People were lying on the floor sleeping. I seemed to be the only one that was awake.

The last thing I remember was being on the Kingston. I had seen things that had disturbed me. Had I seen HER in the medical bay?

I wondered what I was doing here in this cave. I know realised the truth. In the daylight hours I was a human. Only at night, and on certain nights, would I become who I really was... who I was right now. I wolf. A beast.

A smell came to my nostrils. I could smell my own kind! My eyes lit up... was I here? Was I really on Devil Island? Finally with my own kind where I belong... finally with my master - the Lord of the Werewolves...

The mouth of the cave seemed to be blocked. I moved over to it and, with my strong arms, pushed at the rocks which began to tumble and fall until there was a large hole for the rest of my kind to come through.

Suddenly someone in the cave began to stirr. I moved over to them, ready to bite into their flesh... but then I saw who it was! The person I looked at nodded towards me and I sat down on the ground.

Slowly, the hair on my body began to shoot inwards until I was bald. My face and body began to change as my bones cracked and broke, changing shape. Within seconds I was a human again... sleeping fast, with no memories of ever being a wolf...
