I started to run after Pirate Pete and Andor, but I tripped and fell to the floor. The rain was lashing down hard and my ankle hurt from where I fell.

That's when I heard it, the howls of the werewolves were so loud now, it sounded like they were all around me. Then I passed out from the pain.

"Shit!" I shouted as I saw Emmsi collapse, "we have to go back and help her!"

I rushed towards her, passing by the old man named Andor. As I passed by him I looked at him. He was a strange man... I still didn't trust him. He didn't look well... but I didn't care about him.

I reached Emmsi and, picking her over my shoulder, I began to rush back with her to the others...

I looked towards Andor. There was soemthing strange happening to him and I didn't like it... I wondered if he was alright.

"Hurry up!" I shouted to Darren and to Andor, "we're nearly at the cave!"

I turned and ran to the cave where Phoenix and Mister Johns had already arrived. I was about to enter when Mister Johns stopped me. He said that he would check it out first as a cave was the perfect hiding place for werewolves.

However a werewolf in a cave was the least of our worries. The howling was now right ontop of us... we could be attacked at any second...

Across the island a loud voice boomed out, travelling with the wind. The voice said -

"Travellers from distant lands... the Queen has been expecting you! You will now face a series of challenges n order to proove yourselves worthy to meet with her!"

Then, as quickly as it had arrived, the voice stopped. Silence once again filled the air.

And then the howling began again...

i heard a voice!
i shouted! what challenges?

i looked at everyone. what you think?

the other had shock on ther faces.

"I don't know what that was but it doesn't sound good, "I said in responce to Sleepy I's question. "We better get inside this cave as quick as possible."

The rain was coming down so hard that we could hardly hear ourselves think.

"I'll go in first. Don't follow until I give it the all clear..."

Slowly, with my weapon raised, I entered the cave...

as they entered the cave i looked in the sky. all i could see was black dots in the sky. i knew what they where.

i asked the captain what he had already seen or heard about this island.

the captain took a deep breath then a screem came from the cave!

i looked and heard lots of nocking about and seemed like a fight!, and as soon as it had started it went quiet again.

i looked at the captain who looked back at me.

Hearing shouting from inside the cave, I carried on running with Andor on my back and rushed inside the cave.

"Come on! Mister Johns mabye in danger we can't just stand here!" I whispered loudly whilst running to the darkness inside.

i followed pete inside holding my trusy knife!

I was glad we were going inside the cave. Surely whatever was in there couldn't be as bad a the howling of these damn wolves outside!

Holding my knife ready I followed the others into the cave...
