From an early age, B's parents knew he was gifted - often he would surprise with knowledge not really known in someone from a background such as his. His parents were too poor to goto school, but when they saw his nature, they saved hard - eventually they had enough money to send B to a school, where he learned how to read and write. Troubles with his personal life, caused B to want to become a doctor - he usually equates his prodest moment to be when he earned the title of "Doctor". B spent many days looking into various illness and their treatments, and would often find ways that weren't the "usual" way to treat patients. This however gained him a lot of jealousy from his peers - a lot of them saying he was a danger to medicine.

He then quit his pratice in (as yet) unknown circumstances - this was the final straw for Doctor B - he decided to drop everything that had tied him to his previous life, even going so far as to drop his last name - and as a result is known only as Doctor B or even just Dr. B. -His name change could be releated to his dismissal, maybe he even did it to change his identity, but he has never told anyone if this is the case.

Overall, Dr B seems to have a very myterious background, but as he categorically prefers to keep his personal and private life seperate, there may still be a lot to learn about this man...

Current status:
Dr B was put into a coma after being possessed by an evil spirit on Salt Station. So far there have been no signs of Dr B ever waking.
