I returned to the Valtriani with the unconscious Tess Bail! Gregor would be pleased!
She was taken from me by one of the other pirates and taken down below decks. I looked around for Gregor to make sure he would keep his promise but I could not see him.

I would just have to wait for him.

The pirates were beginning to give chase after the Kingston. They wanted to get their captain back.

Then the ship shook and I fell to the floor. The beast had returned to attack our ship! I heard a great CRUNCH as the hull began to tear from the beast smashing into it...

I climbed onto the deck of the Valtriani. I was wet and exhausted but very determined.

When I had jumped into the sea to rescue Tess Bail after she was struck by lightning, I had realised that I was surrounded by sharks. I knew that the sharks would attack either me or Tess so I sacrificed my life to save hers. I threw her onboard the Kingston and felt a shark grab my foot and pull me under the water.
However, before they had a chance to eat me - the strange black creature had arrived. The sharks seemed terrified of the beast! So instead of killing me, they took me to a cave at the bottom of the ocean that had an air pocket in it. I think the sharks hoped I could kill the beast!
In this cave I remained for a long time. I began to learn to communicate with the sharks - very primitavly of course.
Then, just a few moments ago, I learnt from the lead shark that Tess Bail had been captured by Jimmy O'Malley. I had risked everything to save her once - I had to help her again!

So here I was. Onboard the Valtriani - here to rescue Tess.

Suddenly there was an almighty CRASH! The Valtriani was under attack! A great creature emerged from the sea, ripping the Valtriani apart. The ship swayed monsteroulsy through the water, the creature cried out.

I had to move quick - the ship was about to be destroyed by the sea creature!

I rushed around the deck. I could not find Tess anywhere! All of the pirates were rushing about - frightened by the sea creatures attack! I even saw Jimmy O'Malley rushing about. However I wa snot here to get revenge on O'Malley.I had to find Tess!
I rushed towards the brig - that is where she must be!

"No!" I screamed, "this is not meant to happen! I should have stayed loyal to Captain Warner!"

Suddenly the tail of the water creature thrashed over the edge of the ship - hitting me in the stomach! I flew over the edge of the ship and into the water...

I arrived back on the cracking deck - the woman I rescued from the brig on my shoulder.

I looked around one last time for Tess. I could not see her.

"I'm sorry Tess," I whispered.

I rushed to the edge of the ship an dove into the water just as the ship lurched and smashed in half, crumpled by the beast!

The woman and I hit the water and we began to sink. I did not have the energy to swim... we were going to drown.

Suddenly the sharks arrived and grabbed hold of the woman and myself. They then dragged us back towards the Kingston and dropped us off at the ships escape boats!
We were saved!

On the deck of the Valtriani I woke. They was mayhem all around me. Pirates were running as the ship was torn apart beneath us.

What was I doing here? I remembered seeing Jimmy O'Malley... had he brought me here? Why?

I had no time to think about it. The deck below me cracked and the sea creature reared it's ugly head. I ran as it lunged towards me... luckily it's gnashing jaws just missed me but I was hit by one if it's great horns. It sent me spinning into the water and I knew no more...

The creature dragged the Valtriani down to the sea, the ship capsized and sunk down deep into the depths of the ocean. A huge spliting of wood crackled through the air.

The pirate ship was gone.
