ok Now I was checking out the period talk topic and it made me curiious about this...


How many of you have given your kids the sex talk? I know we have a wide range of childrens ages here. so I am sure alot of you have already done that..

How old where the kids and how did you go about it?

(And if this topic has already come up, I'm sorry but I didnt see it on here)

I have not had the talk with the kids....lol... I shouldn't be too smirky there though since my kids only seem to be getting older and I know it will have to be done. Have you had the talk with Jarith yet?

Eh we have discussed it somewhat.. like he knows where babies come from .. but not all the specifics of it. Over the summer he was asking all kinds of questions about puberty I was like "Where did you hear that word from?!?!" haha

Noway!!! I have not gotten those questions yet from Austin. I would probably drop my mouth down to the floor if I did...j/k

I was pretty shocked.. so i said to ask daddy about that stuff, and then turned and gave Steve warning that he wanted to come talk to him about that hehe

I have had the question of where babies come, and I say the mommy's tummy and it never goes any further...

really? they haven't asked yet how babies get in the tummy?!? jarith was very curious of how babies get out of the tummy too.. haha i showed him my scar and said they cut me open and took you out hahaha

I've been lucky so far too. My kids asked where babies came from, I told them there is an egg in the mommy, it gets fertalized and then the baby starts to grow.... they were ok with that. I was so scared they were gonna ask how it got fertalized! But I haven't had to deal with that yet. I just hope they don't ask, and they can learn it in school.... lmao

lol An older lady who is the team mom for my sons football team and I were talkin about this the other day.. until she wa like 13 she thought you picked out babies at the hospital like a store! hehe

She is funny!!! I like her! I don't remember how I learned about it... got knocked up is what I remember... I think if the kids are educated in it at the proper time it helps.
Did you gals every get the fake baby at school to care for? The ones that really cry? I didn't, but I wonder if it works.
