I am Christina, I am a SAHM to Sydney Gwen and wife to John. We are currently stationed in Alaska but have just recieved PCS orders to Ft. Hood so I am hoping to make some friends for us. I am Meagan. Married to David. We are parents to Katie, 7 yrs old. We have been stationed here for 1 very long and painful year. lol

anyhow.. when do you expect to be here?

As of right now it looks like we will be arriving in March! It seems so far away but I know time will fly by and I like to be prepared. lol I guess we are in for quite a climate change! haha! So, how hot does it get there or do I even want to know...?

Welcome...wow you are in for a major shock in climate moving from Alaska. I love Texas but then again I'm from Houston.

let's not even talk about it.. lol..

(but if you have myspace,, i have a blog called "highway to hell" about how i believe the explanation to the heat here in the summer is that Fort Hood must be the gateway to hell and that if you lift a manhole cover, the flames from HELL will come pouring out... )
