I have an uncle in southeastern Arizona who has terminal cancer. Since December God has been telling me to pray over the phone with him for healing. I've called my uncle and aunt countless times since then and every time I gave in to fear and would not pray with him. After Sunday night I knew that I had to do it--it was non-negotiable. I called my aunt and uncle right after work last night. I had this awful anxiety buildup all day but I was determined to push through it and put action to my faith. I talked for awhile and then I told them that I'm taking this class at church where I'm learning how to pray for the sick and I need to practice, and besides God might just do something because I believe He's real and He likes to heal people. I boldly prayed with him for healing in the name of Jesus. My uncle really appreciated it. I don't know if healing manifested yet, but I told him I'm new at this and if he doesn't get healed I'll need to be persistent and pray for him again later. It felt really good to finally obey God and step out in boldness.
