Hey guys!
This is so Kaichi and I may continue our story (Hadrien and Rakyuun). You can post if you like, but ask first.

This is sort of an alternative history RP.

Story:
In the beginning, the goddess Proksitani tried three times to make a peaceful race to inhabit her newly created world, Lyosielven (Lee-ohss-el-vin). On her first attempt she made an extremely bloodthirsty race, the Demons. She sealed them away into Darkhe, and tried again. On her second attempt she made Angels, an extremely powerful people. Fearing they would want to test this power, she sealed them away in Hehfin. On her final attempt, she created Humans, a weak and peaceful race. So she placed them in Lyosielven, hoping for the best. She then decided to create another race, animals, to accompany the humans. Placing them in Lyosielven, her task was finished and she disappeared.

All was peaceful in Lyosielven. The humans thrived and got along well with each other and the animals -- the only battles took place in the dojos and Colosseums.

2,000 years later, the Demons became restless. They banded together under their new leader, Yomiyaru, and their combined efforts freed them once more. Their intense bloodlust led them up into Hehfin, where they started a war with the Angels. As they clashed, their blood rained down onto the people of Lyosielven. This caused new races to be born, different types of subHumans. The people, wanting to test their powers, began fighting each other. The world split up into clans based on race.

Not yet satisfied, the Demons defeated the Angels and took control over Lyosielven, enslaving them and the subHumans and Humans. It has been this way ever since.

The races are growing tired of this captivity. Yet they continue to battle each other, making it impossible to do anything about it. If they wish to free themselves from this torture, they need to band together and get rid of the Demons.

How will you affect the future of Lyosielven? Can you bring together the races and defeat the Demons?
________________________________

Classes:

vampire (subHuman race that lives off of blood and is destroyed by sunlight. Silver crosses and bullets weaken them)

demon (based on animal spirits, most are violent, but some were created from the blood rain and aren’t the original Demons)

lycanthrope (subHuman race that remains human except during the full moon, when they change into animals. Silver bullets kill them)

halfbloods (half human, half something else)

fairie (subHuman race that has control over magic and certain types of mind control)

dragon (winged reptile that breathes some sort of “elemental breath” such as fire, depending on its type.)

angel (original angels enslaved by the Demons. Have immense elemental and magic powers and the ability to fly)

necromancer (has an affinity for the dead. This involves raising and controlling the dead, but also can control vampires...Oh, and by raising, I mean as zombies, not bringing them back to life.)

human (self-explanatory, I think)

SubClasses:
animator
bounty hunter
tamer
archer
swordsman
alchemist
elemental controller
thief
dragonrider
siren
gunslinger

Clans:

Kyuuketsuki (Kee-yoo-kate-soo-kee)- [Clan of vampires. Occasionally invade the other clans to feed, but mostly manage to keep to themselves.]

Sennyo (Sane-eeyoh)- [Clan of fairies. Secluded from the other clans, so not much is known.]

Doragon (Doh-rah-gohn)- (Clan of dragons. Made peace with the Jinteki clan’s dragonriders, but fight with the other clans.)

Lycan (Lai-can)- (Clan of lycanthropes. Has some contact with humans but most of the time it’s negative contact.)

Jinteki (Jeen-tay-kee)- (Clan of humans. Generally peaceful and has contact with Doragon and Lycan. Not many humans because of the previous blood rain. They are some of the few purebloods)

Mitsukai (Meet-soo-kai)- (Clan of angels. Hide among other clans disguised as humans, but show their true nature in the village they control)

Recnam (Rake-nom)- (Clan of necromancers. Reside with the humans.)

Tsuwari (Soo-wah-ree)- (Clan of halfbloods. Are generally hated so hide they away. Reside in many different regions.)

Daemon (Dai-mon)- (Clan of demons. Generally malicious and bloodthirsty. Control all regions in Lyosielven.)

_______________________________________________

Places in Lyosielven (Lee-oh-see-el-vin):

Chlajareo (claw-ja-ray-oh) [Region] -Brim River, Maike, Kanpa, an entrance to Lyog Cave, and Gonfo Forest are in this region, shared mostly by humans and dragons.

Thoroice (thoh-roys) [Region] -Dehka Desert, Fleone, Torop, Anubis Mountains, Kyaku, Navrin, Namitz Dock, and a Lyog Cave entrance are in this region, the largest of the four. Lycanthropes, vampires, and angels take up the majority of the classes you will find in this region.

Arcenli (Arkin-lee)[Region] -Riord, Dojyan, Wonnoki Plains, an entrance to Thoroice Bridge, and Hikarun Lighthouse are in this region. Arcenli has the most diverse types of classes in one region.

Chizau (Chee-zow)[Island] -An island occupied completely by fairies, with one village, Tiero.

Dojyan (Doh-ji-on) [City] -City where many different races coexist, perhaps the most diverse population in the same vicinity in all of Lyosielven. You must past through here to get to the Hikarun Lighthouse.

Navrin (Nav-reen) [City] -City with many halfbloods, vampires, and lycanthropes, but is ruled by demons, the most you will find in one city. Has a colosseum where many classes come to compete in “formal” combat for large amounts of money (Genold and Sielven) and bragging rights.

Fleone (Flee-ohn) [City] -City of angels, where they can show there true selves without a second thought. No one’s been inside in a while, but every once in a while someone comes out.

Riord (Ree-ord) [City] -A city that is cold most of the year and can only be reached through Wonnoki Plains. It is known for its fighting people, and many classes train at the dojos here and then test their skills in Navrin’s colosseum.

Maike (Myke) [Village] -A peaceful village made up of only humans, (or thought to be) with a grand library that houses most of the knowledge in Lyosielven, a pharmacy with only the greatest in medicines, and a very secure bank, among other stores. It is the place to go if your looking to trade or buy something.

Kanpa (Kon-pa) [Village] -A village of dragons, its dragons keep contact with the people of Maike and go through trials in the forest to get the opportunity to train in the dojos of Riord and gain the title of dragon and dragonrider. The trials also help establish the rank of the dragons living in Kanpa, making it a popular goal for all Kanpans.

Tiero (Tee-eh-roh) [Village] -A village of fairies, it is cut off from the outside world, so not much is known at this point.

Torop (Toh-rop) [Village] -A village of lycanthropes with a huge wall around the entire city. They keep to themselves, and because no one but the vampires dares to go there what with the threat of catching the lycanthropy disease, and no one talks to vampires with choice, not much is known about its inside walls.

Kyaku (Kee-yah-ku) [Village] -Village of vampires. They only leave the village to feed, occasionally traveling the distances to the Chlajareo and Arcenli regions because of their hunger for strictly human blood. At other times, they just feed on animals in the area, though it displeases them. Kyaku is often covered completely in a cloud of ash because of the Anubis Volcano, so this helps to block out the sun, making it a great spot for vampires to flourish.

Gonfo (Gon-foh) Forest -A deep, dark forest, said to be haunted by the humans and dragons that lost their lives in the trials held here for dragonriders and dragon ranks.

Anubis (Ah-new-bis) Mountains -A mountain range that runs between Kyaku and Torop, mostly separating the vampires and the lycanthropes. The lycanthropes like to come here to hunt when there’s a full moon. And supposedly, they house a great treasure, although you probably won’t live to confirm this.

Dehka (Deh-kah) Desert -A hot, steamy desert, its sand burning even through your shoes. And, on the occasion when Anubis erupts, lava tends to make rivers of death through the sand dunes. It also happens to be the only way to reach Navrin, Namitz Dock, and one of the entrances to Lyog Cave, unless of course, you want to climb the Anubis mountains and go through a village of bloodthirsty vampires.

Wonnoki (Wan-noh-kee) Plains -Traipsing through these grassy plains is the only way to reach Riord, or Maike if you happen to live in Riord. It is the source of much magic, and people have been known to suddenly disappear on trips through here. Often there are weird “earthquakes” that take place in these plains, and you can feel them in Maike, but oddly they only ever damage Wonnoki Plains. Some say there must be some sort of underground demon that causes these earth tremors when it comes up from the ground to feed on unsuspecting travelers, but who would believe that?

Brim River -One of the only sources of freshwater in Chlajareo. It’s a nice, normal river. Right...?

Lyog (Lee-og) Cave -The only way to get to Thoroice when the bridge is closed. They used to be mines for something, but now they are an underwater deathtrap, as most people who go in to come out on the other side never do. Supposedly, if you reach the very middle of the cave there is some really solid, clear rock where you can see under the ocean.

Namitz (Nah-meetz) Dock -No one’s really sure where the ocean will take you if you leave port here, as it’s not on the map. But some citizens say that it’s the only way you can reach a treasure island of sorts. Demons are usually guarding it.

Hikarun (Hee-kah-roon) Lighthouse -Less of a lighthouse and more of an immense tower with a light at the top, many come here to see if they can reach the top. Monsters overrun the place though, so only the most brave venture here.

Places controlled by certain clans:
Maike- Jinteki
Kanpa- Doragon
Tiero- Sennyo
Torop- Lycan
Kyaku- Kyuuketsuki
Fleone- Mitsukai

All other places different clans reside together (not necessarily knowing it), except for Chizau Island, which is controlled by fairies.

*******Rules (Based on ones developed by Shima for Ethereal Winds and Endless Ocean)*******

1. No God-moding. An example is an instant kill move that wipes out the entire field.

2. You can play either good, evil, or neutral characters. Your allegiance is up to you. I’d like to see some Player vs. Player action going on here.

3. Don't drastically change the plot

4. You control only YOUR character and no more than that. Even for the smallest things like answering yes/no to a question. (This does not include NPCs--non-player characters--such as a store owner you made up)

5. Be reasonable. No 20 people parties please.

6. When posting about attacking or taking action on or towards another person, you cannot post their reaction

7. You can have events leading up to drastic plot changes

8. You MUST describe your surroundings and actions fully.

9. Healing only does so much..... it doesn't heal you completely

10. For magics, be descriptive. Insert magic words if you feel the need to. People don't scream 'fire 1' and it works

11. Magic can cure smaller wounds, but if your arm is hacked off, I don't think cure 3 is gonna save ya. :/

12. No racism

13. No verbal bashing

14. No cussing unless it’s in your character's personality basis

15. Remember, these enemies aren't cake or easy. No one, no matter HOW strong, can tear through hundreds of people/demons without rest, help, or a ton of support from magics or etc.

16. Absolutely NO one hit kills that cover a large group. That isn't fun, leave room for others to play.

17. No use of word abbreviations like 'u' or 'ur' because I hate it. Also, type full sentences. Occasional misspellings are okay, because I do that too, but don't make it a habit. USE SPELL CHECK!

Takes him a while to get close to people because of things that happened in the past.
Brief Personal Details/History: Resides in Maike. (will tell history later in RP)
EDIT: Also, I'm going to give him a list of attacks pertaining to one of his subclasses, elemental controller of light. For swordsman, he basically just uses normal attacks (i.e. downward slash) and light attacks, but I will explain the combo-ish type stuff now. Okay, here it goes:
Shining Claw: a bright light shines from his sword making it look like there are three blades, and comes crashing down over his enemy, slashing them.
Blindfold: a beam of light shoots out of the sword, blinding the enemy.
Luminescent Dragon: a beam of light emurges from the sword, circling above the enemy, attacking with it's lightning breath.
If I ever think of any more, I'll add them here...>.>

~Maike Village Library~

Rakyuun stared intently at the pages of “The Creation of Lyosielven-Angels and Their History.” Not that it did him any good--he couldn’t read. But he liked to look at the pictures...and he was too self-conscious to ask anyone for help.

He wiped his ocean-blue hair out of his lavender eyes and turned the page. There was a large illustration of an angel with piercingly white wings and long, golden hair. It held its arms in the air as if reaching for the sky...a demon was suspended in the air above the angel, its skin crimson with blood. Rakyuun turned the page again and the demon lay dead on the ground, its limbs out at unnatural angles. Rakyuun shuddered and quickly went to the next page.

Am I really capable of something like that? he thought, fingering the elemental blade at his side. It glowed yellow through its sheathe for a second and then stopped when Rakyuun took his hand off it. Hmmm. Is it the demons I hate or the angels?

He suddenly heard the sound of pounding feet and looked up. There was a young man running towards him, his silver hair bouncing up and down with the motion. “KYUCHI!!!!” he yelled.

He stopped beside Rakyuun, out of breath, and pointed a finger accusingly at him. “Kyuchi! ...What are...you...doing?” he bent over and clutched his side for a moment. “You’re supposed to be delivering that package, not lazing about in the library!!!”

Some people looked at them, glaring at the amount of noise they were making, “In a library of all places.” As they continued to glare even as Jager waited quietly for Rakyuun’s answer, he began to see that wasn’t just what they were glaring at. They can’t hear the words of the conversation, just the yelling...Argh, they must think I’m having a lover’s quarrel or something. I’m a guy! And I’m straight, damnit!

“Er, Jager, do you think you could keep it down a bit, you know, stop all the unnecessary yelling...It’s making me look bad.”

“Ah...” Jager glanced around and seemed to realize what was going on. He blushed. “Sorry...”

“Anyways, back to our previous conversation, I’ve already delivered that package.”

Jager looked surprised. “Still...you need to come back to the store when you’re done with delivering.”

“Well, I usually do, but today I decided to...read...instead. That was the last package of the day anyway...I’d just be sitting around doing nothing.”

“Ah well...could you come back anyway? Roike’s gonna have a fit if you don’t...He’ll take it out on me...So can’t you check those books out and come back to the store?”

Rakyuun, trying not to laugh, replied, “Fine, I suppose I...could do...that.” He stood, grabbing up the books into his arms, and went to the front desk.

“Ma’am, I’d like to check these out please.”

On the way to the store, Jager walked fast to make sure he stayed ahead of Rakyuun.

“Hey, Jager, what’s up with you? Have something against me already? Sorry if what happened back there embarrassed you...I just seem to have that effect on people.”

It was the end of Rakyuun’s first week working for Roike at the Maike Pharmacy, so he hadn’t known Jager very long.

“No, it was mostly my fault...” He glanced back a Rakyuun with apple-green eyes. “...Don’t worry about it. It’s not your fault you’re a pretty boy.”

Rakyuun was taken aback. “What? I’m a pretty boy!?”he laughed bitterly. It must be his angel blood. He wasn’t about to tell Jager that though. He had never told anyone in Maike about his angel blood, for fear of being exiled again, and he didn’t plan to anytime soon. No one had ever come out right and said he was “pretty” before, but guys tended to stay away from him when they could, fearing for their reputation, or something. Girls followed him around a lot though. It sort of creeped him out.

“I mean, if you wore makeup you’d look just like a girl.” Jager looked more uncomfortable than ever.

“Well, I can assure you, I’m a guy, and I won’t be wearing makeup anytime soon.” Rakyuun said, fighting the laughing fit that was coming on.

Rakyuun and Jager arrived at Maike Pharmacy. Jager looked nervous but he brought Rakyuun to the back of the store where Roike was anyway. He bowed. “I’ve brought him back, sir.”

“Sheesh, Jager, lighten up a bit.” Roike said, patting him on the back. “Go watch for customers.”

“Yes, sir.”

“Roike.”

“Yes, Roike.” He trailed off to the front.

Rakyuun shuffled feet a little. “Um, Roike, I delivered the package.”

“Good job!” Roike said happily. “I told you you’d get the hang of it. Now if you would just come back to the store after your jobs, you’d reach perfection.”

“Sorry.”

“It’s all right. I was wondering, though, not to be rude or anything, but what exactly does an illiterate do at a library?”

Roike knew all about Rakyuun’s inability to read. When Rakyuun first came to him for the job, Roike hired him as deliverer even though he knew Rakyuun couldn’t read. Roike gave Rakyuun directions instead of addresses to make it easier for him. Roike might be a little on the strange side, but he was nothing if not trustworthy--which was why Rakyuun had confided in him. He had known Roike was trustworthy the moment he met him. It was partly because of his angel blood, but he had a natural knack for knowing whether he liked a person or not right away. But that didn’t mean he didn’t give people a chance.

“I was...looking at the pictures. To get ideas for my drawings.”

Rakyuun liked to draw--and was very skilled at it.

“Are you going to draw me another picture to hang in my living room?” Roike joked. “Anyway, I have nothing more for you to do here, so...you can go home for the day.”

At his house, Rakyuun walked straight through to his bedroom and shut the door. There was no one to greet him anyway; he lived alone. He sat down at his desk, opening the book he was reading earlier to the page with the angel with the long, golden hair on it. He took out his sketchbook and charcoal pencils and began to draw.

After a few minutes he realized he was really hungry. He got up and went into the kitchen, fixing himself a bowl of ramen. Pasta was about all he could afford at the moment, part of the reason why he had wanted the job at the pharmacy.

He brought the ramen back into his bedroom and set it down beside his sketchbook, careful not to drip any of the juicy broth on it. As he ate and drew, he relaxed, letting his lavender feathered wings show. Hiding them took a lot of energy anyway.

This is pretty sad, he thought. I’m a trained swordsman and elemental controller of light but I prefer drawing and working at a pharmacy to fighting. He sighed, but continued to draw.

Maike village (wolf training grounds.)

Yasuna was an odd sixteen year old girl she had pointed ears, claws, fangs, and a wolf tail. She avoided villagers when she could and spent most of her time playing with the wolves in her backyard. For some reason or another they liked her. They were her only friends and she protected them from village weapons. She sat down next to her most favored wolf she liked to call Tsumate or Mate for short. Mate was a young white female wolf with ice blue eyes just like Yasuna's. "I wonder what it's like outside of the village." she said to her pack of wolves who listened eagerly to her.

Hadrien Romanti was a vampire. It usually took only a few minutes for a person to realize he was a vampire too. Not that it mattered, he never did care about that. His black hair hung around the sides of his face like a curtain, sheilding his face and dark green eyes from view. His black clothes (pants, jacket down to his ankles, and shoes) helped him meld with the shadows, to become one with the dark. The only thing that made him visible was the white mandarin collared dress shirt he wore.

He leaned casually against the brick wall of some building, surveying the street. He was the only vampire in a city of humans. Hadrien wouldn't have even been here if he hadn't been summoned. He grinned slightly at that thought. Summoned. HA! It had been more of a job offer. He was starting to lose his patience though. He had been waiting for a long time and no one had shon up ye...

"Damien?" a woman's voice called from a little ways down the street. he turned expectantly and nodded, keeping his face blank. Long ago Hadrien had been nicknamed Damien, demon. She walked up, nervous. He struggled to not show her his fangs, to see what her reaction would be. She reminded him of a frightened bird. "I'm sorry it took me so long to get here. I hope you haven't been waiting long." He straightened up, seeming to grow slightly, and ran his hands back through his hair and tying it back in a ponytail. "Not terribly long," he lied. "Tell me about the job." "Well your skills as an animator are quite infamous." He nodded. This much he knew already. "My grandfather died a long time ago but recently there has been some... dispute over his land. I was hoping you could raise him so that my family could get this settled."
"Couldn't you have gotten someone else to raise him?"
"Well yes but...."
"Then why me?"

She paused and looked down at her hands. After a moment she spoke. "My grandfather was a half-blood, we're not sure of what, and the other animators wouldn't raise him. They said it would be too risky." She looked up at him almost pleadingly. "Please. Please raise him for us."

He sighed. "I'll have to think on it. Raising half's if you don't know what their blood is can be tricky. Let me think it over and I'll call you when I've decided." Without another word to her he turned, and disappeared into the dark.

Yasuna was walking with three of her wolves underneath the night sky. It was the best way she knew how to protect her wolves from villagers. Tsumate was on of the wolves she had with her. Why do the villagers hate me so much anyway, and why do they hate my wolves? she often talked to herself mentally or outloud because noone in the village wanted anything to do with her so she was alone for the most part with the exception of her wolves and mother. "Mate where are you going?" asked Yasuna chasing after the rampage wolf who had caught a scent that didn't smell human. "Come back here!" she shouted with the other two wolves following behind her. Just as she turned the corner of a house she say Mate leap into the air towards a young man. "Hey watch out!" she shouted at the man. "And please don't hurt my wolf!" she said pleadingly thinking he was one of the villagers that hated her and her wolves.

~Maike, Rakyuun's house~

Rakyuun yawned. I guess that's the sign for me to put up my sketchbook and go to bed, he thought. He closed the book and his sketchpad and went into the kitchen with the ramen bowl. He put it in the sink and went back into his bedroom. He changed out of his clothes and lay down on his bed and tried to go to sleep.

He was just about to doze off when he woke with a start. He heard voices nearby, probably a little ways down the street. Damn acute hearing, he thought, and groaned. Oh well, I can't really sleep anyway. Damn angel senses keep me up all night...I really need to work on that.

He got up and looked out the window. It was deep night now, there were stars sparkling in the sky and the full moon was glowing brightly. Hmmm, it's nice out tonight, he thought. Maybe I'll go for a walk...

He changed back into his clothes (Purple-ish vest over chainmail shirt and a chain necklace with a lavender feather on the end and black pants) and put on his boots. He walked through the house and out into the cool night air, and began his descent down the street.

Maike

Hadrien moved with a lightning liquid grace out of the wolf's path. It twisted around to leap at him again but he gave it a killers stare and it shrank back, whimpering. His voice, like water, cool and smooth, spoke. "You need to control your pets little girl." He turned and stared straight into her eyes. "Someone could get hurt. I'm sure you wouldn't want that." Hadrien looked back down at the wolf. Return to your master. The order swept out, demanding. The wolf whimpered and scurried quickly back to the girl.

As Tia walked into the silent night, she walked into the town of Maike. " A lovely town" she said to herself. She looked all over town for a hotel until she found one. She walked in and there sat an old lady. "Welcome to my hotel, one bedroom?" she asked. "Yes please" she answered. She walked into the room and took off her cloak, she slowly lifted her wings. Black feathers with a highlight of brown. She said to herself, "Oh how I feel so much better!" She easily fell to sleep and she starts to dream.

She heard screaming, screams of a man and a woman. Her parents.. "I'm going to save you!" she kept saying to herself. Her parents faded away in her dreams and she woke up screaming. "No!!!!!!", she panted and had cold sweat going down her back. "Just a dream"..she slept peacefully again.[/i]

"I'm really sorry about that sir." she said bowing politely. "My name's Yasusuna but you can call me Yasu if you like." she said smiling slightly with her fangs slightly visible although she wasn't aware that they showed. "Mate isn't usually like that I trained all the wolves that have wandered to the village and Mate I think is my most favorite." she said happily as her long brown hair blew in the breeze and her wolf tail wagged nervously. "Come on Mate" she said gently and the wolf took the lead towards her house. "It's going to be day soon and if you'd like you can stay at my house without charge as my appology and with my thanks. I think your the first person who hasn't tried to kill one of my wolves."
