This is a very good book, the people in it are great chracters that mature and change through the book. It has so many sub characters and main plots going on, its insane.

You can really connect with the people, which few authors can pull off. Plus, the dialouge is classic.

Its has everything: An empire that devourers everthing in its past, a fading race with unbelievable power, love gained and lost, magic sword, Gods battling humans, possessed puppets and much much more!
